At the 3rd Street Gallery, 220 Third Street, Carnegie
Above is my entry in this annual art exhibit, Forsythe’s Farm in Winter. It’s ink with watercolor washes, just the right thing to capture that field of unbroken snow. Consider stopping in for the opening, or stop in at the 3rd Street Gallery for another of their events and see this year’s show—the art is really impressive!
I love the contrast between the ink and the white of the paper. The watercolor adds nice color too.
Thank you–that was what inspired me, the pure, smooth white of the snow and that blazing red that looked like the only real color in the landscape.
